Police: Neighbor stabbed, killed man in Upper Kirby apartment building

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A high-end apartment building in Upper Kirby is now a crime scene since one resident allegedly killed another resident right in the hallway.

The Gables West Avenue Apartments on Kirby is the type of building where residents hope to get away from crime.

But police say around 2am this morning a man stabbed his neighbor to death.

Investigators the men got into a fight at a nearby bar. The two men later arrived at the same apartment building and spotted each other in the hallway.

Police say the men got into a fight and during the brawl, one man stabbed the other man to death.
