Security guard shot at west Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A security guard was the victim of a shooting at a west Houston apartment complex.

Police were called out to the Palms at Westheimer apartments on Westheimer early this morning.

They found the security guard in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Police are questioning neighbors. So far there are no suspects.
