DENVER, CO (KTRK) -- Denver police are calling him 'Tony the Tagger.' A guy investigators say was spray painting a man's home and pillars, as well as a sidewalk and dumpster, while wearing a tiger suit is in trouble with the law.
On Friday, police got the call about a suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Timothy Heckler, wearing a 'Tony the Tiger' costume while spray painting a home. Police say before that, Heckler had been seen spray painting pillars of that home and the sidewalk.
When police arrived, they say they found Heckler, still in his tiger costume, spray painting a city dumpster.
Heckler was arrested and officers say they recovered several cans of spray paint on him.
