HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A pilot was able to get out of a plane that crash landed at Hooks Airport in Spring and then swim to safety Wednesday.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, crashed in the water runway at Hooks and then flipped over. That pilot was able to get out of the plane and swim to the water's edge. He was apparently OK.
The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash.
