Pit bull that bit five kids given to rescue group

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A pit bull that bit several students at a school was handed over to a local rescue organization.

The dog bit five students at YES Prep Academy in southeast Houston.

Kathy Springfults and her 11-year-old son will take care of the dog.

"He went through all of the aggression training and he did wonderful," she said.

The dog will eventually be put up for adoption.
