New details surface about suspect in string of crashes
We obtained new video showing Blaine Boudreaux from moments after the accident to him as a doting father

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We obtained new video showing a man suspect in four crashes -- two of them deadly -- from moments after the accident to him as a doting father.

Eyewitness News on Thursday obtained exclusive new surveillance video from the first crash that Blaine Boudreaux is accused of causing. This crash took place in the medical center along Fannin. In the video, you can see Boudreaux, the victims, and a Houston Police officer communicating. Boudreaux is wearing a white T-shirt and appears to be talking on the phone.

But we wanted to learn more about Boudreaux, the man accused of being involved in four crashes within a few hours, two of them deadly. Records show he left Louisiana about a decade ago, made Houston home, got married and lives in a west-side house with an overgrown lot. On the day of the crash, Boudreaux told officers he had just visited his son in the hospital.

The family has a GoFundMe page set up for their son Eli, who is a lung patient. The page is dedicated to the health of their little boy. It includes several YouTube links. In one of the videos, Boudreaux is seen holding his son. He is smiling and laughing, far different than how we've seen him in court this week.

Prosecutors say Boudreaux told them he was on several medications. And while we do not know his medical history, state records do show Noudreaux was once certified as a pharmacy tech.

Over the years, he's worked at two separate Walgreens in the Katy area, but left those jobs a few years ago. We spoke with several people at Walgreens, but none were willing to go on the record to talk about their former coworker.

Boudreaux remains in jail.
