LINDALE, TX -- "It tore the roof off...tore the house in half just about."
A man in Lindale, Texas says he had very little warning in the moments before a twister ripped through his mobile home on Friday night.

All he could do, he says, was grab his two dogs and shelter in place with his family.
"You could see the tail of the tornado when it came down," he says.
The tornado shook his home, he says, before ripping the home to shreds.

The trailer right behind his home wasn't as lucky.
The high winds sent the home a quarter mile down the road, hitting another home in the process.
The man says he has received the help from many in the community as he and his family begin to pick up the pieces.
