Man stabbed at house party in northeast Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say a man stabbed another man at a house party in northeast Houston.

It happened on Joy Street near Wayside.

The suspect drove off after the incident but his vehicle broke down. Officers noticed blood on the car door and arrested the man. He is facing possible aggravated assault charges.

The man who was stabbed was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and is expected to survive. It's unclear what sparked the confrontation.
