Police investigating deadly shooting at townhome complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Police are investigating a shooting at a townhome complex.

Around 10pm lsat night, officers were called to Woodland Park and Westheimer, in West Houston.

Neighbors at the Plaza at West Chase Townhome Complex reported hearing gunshots.

Police arrived and found a man dead in the second-story hallway. Detectives do not know the victim's identity. It's also unclear if he lived at the complex. No one witnessed the shooting.

Right now, the motive is unknown. Detectives are interviewing neighbors.
