Man hit by car dies after fender bender in east Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead after he was hit by a car on the East Freeway.

It happened around 12:45am on the East Freeway near John Ralston.

Police say the man was involved in a fender bender, then got out of his car. He was attempting to walk across the freeway when he was hit by another car. He died instantly.

The other driver did stop and likely won't face charges.
