Man found shot in SE Houston apartment complex dies

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say a man is now dead after he was found with a gunshot wound in his chest at a southeast Houston apartment complex.

Police say the man was found in the courtyard of a complex on Selinsky Road at Cedarburg around 10:30pm last night.

So far, there's no word on a possible motive for the shooting.

The victim was taken to the hospital, but died early this morning before 8am.

Homicide investigators are now headed to the shooting scene.

The shooter remains on the run.
