LOS ANGELES, CA -- Los Angeles firefighters battled a large blaze that erupted in a single-story commercial building in Boyle Heights on Thursday.
The fire engulfed the building, located in the 1600 block of S. Soto Street near Pico Boulevard, at about 7:45 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
AIR7 HD captured the intense firefight and video showed the roof and parts of the structure begin to collapse and crumble in the blaze.
More than 100 firefighters were out trying to quell the flames. Firefighters had the blaze knocked down within three hours of arriving at the scene.
Officials said no injuries were reported. According to the fire department, everything inside the building was a total loss and the building was expected to also be a total loss.
It was unclear what sparked the blaze, but the fire department said detectives with the arson division would investigate.
