SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- A small jet slid off the runway at Sugar Land Airport Friday morning.
According to Sugar Land police, two people were on board the jet, which ended up in a creek after skidding off the runway at around 10:15am.
The occupants were uninjured. At this point, we don't know if the accident was related to the weather.
JetSuite, the jet-lending company that owns the plane, issued the following statement:
"A JetSuite Phenom 100 plane was involved in a runway overrun at Sugar Land airport this morning. There were no passengers on board, and no injuries have been reported. We are working with local authorities to recover the airplane."
