HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two men suspected of several thefts in the Montrose area are now in jail after police caught them robbing from a CVS.

Store employees say around 3am, three men ran into the CVS on Waugh at West Dallas. The suspects grabbed a shopping cart and started stealing merchandise including, dog food, soap and anything else they could grab. Two of the men then ran out the front door and the third ran out the backdoor.

Employees called police and told officers they recognized two of the suspects as men who had stolen from the store several days ago. Police quickly arrived and spotted the three men putting the stolen items in a pickup truck. Two of the men were arrested but the third suspected thief got away.

Detectives believe the men are behind a number of robberies including crimes at Randalls and Walgreens.
