Houston police release surveillance video in deadly shooting
Surveillance video released by Houston police shows a light blue Chevrolet Silverado or GMC pickup leaving the scene of a deadly shooting in North Houston.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police just released surveillance video of a vehicle connected to a deadly shooting in north Houston.

The video shows a newer model, light blue Chevrolet Silverado or GMC pickup leaving the scene on Northborough and Rushcreek around 1:40am on August 6.

Witnesses told police someone inside the truck opened fire on a group of men.

Cornelius Williams, 34, was killed and another man was hit in the arm.

Officers said the truck had dark-tinted windows, running boards, chrome wheels and paper plates, in addition to a third brake light above the rear window and a GPS antenna on the driver's side roof.
