HCSO: Small plane runs off runway at Hooks Airport

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A small plane has gone off the end of a runway at Hooks Airport, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

A pilot was practicing touch and go maneuvers when the plane left the runway. The spokesperson for the sheriff's office reports the pilot was up and walking around when emergency crews arrived. Cypress Creek EMS says no one was injured in the accident.
