HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Chris Dunn, 46, continues to fight for his life from a room in Methodist Hospital. The hospital tells Dunn's family it will soon stop its life-sustaining treatment, but family refuses to accept the decision.
On Monday, Texas Right to Life said the hospital informed the family they would end life-sustaining care in 10 days as allowed by the Texas Advanced Directives Act. Dunn's family is focusing on finding another hospital that will offer him an ICU bed.

Dunn's family was granted a second two-week extension of the 10-day period to find another facility but says the same day the extension was granted, Methodist filed an injunction seeking custodial guardianship of Dunn.
Methodist Hospital has not commented on this update, but released this statement two weeks ago:
"The patient's family disagrees on the appropriate end-of-life care for this patient. We feel strongly that every decision we have made is in the best interest of the patient, and the Houston Methodist staff works hard and compassionately every day to help families who are facing difficult end-of-life issues."'
The organization Texas Right to Life has taken on Dunn's fight sparking debate on social media. Celebrities and politicians like LeBron James and Sarah Palin have even gotten involved on Twitter, using the hashtag #HelpChrisSeeChristmas.
