Fisherman finds body of missing Houston-area Army veteran
JASPER COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- We have sad news to report in the case of a missing Houston Army veteran.
A bystander has found the body of 23-year-old Amon Gift, who disappeared last Friday.

Texas EquuSearch volunteers were searching for the man when a fisherman found Gift's body in a cove at Lake Sam Rayburn in Jasper County.
Gift's wife told Eyewitness News he was suffering from PTSD after recently returning from Afghanistan.
