Firetruck stolen from Rosehill Fire Department
Thieves got away with an F350 brush truck, along with medical equipment from the engine housed there

TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- The Rosehill Fire Department hopes you can help them track down one of their trucks, which they say was stolen Monday morning.

According to fire officials, sometime between midnight and 7am, the station at 22531 FM 2920 was burglarized. Thieves got away with an F350 brush truck, along with medical equipment from the engine housed there.

"I don't know what they would do with it," Assistant Fire Chief Lee Sulecki told Eyewitness News.

Sulecki says the thieves kicked in a side door and ransacked the fire station before opening the garage door to drive off in the fire truck. It's a red four-wheel drive single cab with an aluminum bed. Wildfire hand tools and a chainsaw were also in the truck.

"It's not going to affect our ability to take care of the public. It's just going to take us a couple minutes longer to get a truck farther away," Sulecki added.

Anyone with information is urged to call or office at 281-351-4548, or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
