HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Families affected by a three-alarm apartment fire last week in northwest Houston need your help to get back on their feet. Many of them lost everything they owned.
The Falls on Antoine Apartments actually caught fire twice, last Monday. At least 40 units were destroyed, 16 of those suffered direct fire damage. Firefighters knocked out the first blaze and it flared back up hours later -- destroying one building.
Many of the families and individuals are low income and need more help.
The residents are in need of new and gently used clothing and furniture. As the children get ready to go back to school -- they will need uniforms, school supplies and backpacks. There are several drop off locations.
