Fire rips though garage in Conroe

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Fire investigators are working to determine what caused a fire that ripped through a Conroe area garage.

The fire broke out around 7:26am Monday at a home in the 2500 block of Ellis Park Lane near New Harmony Drive.

Firefighters spotted heavy fire coming from the garage of the residence and were able to contain those flames from spreading to the rest of the home. No one gor hut.

The Conroe Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office is now working to determine what started the fire.
