Driver: Man dies after walking out in front of truck on FM 1960

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- A 60-year-old man is dead after he allegedly walked out in front of a pickup truck in northeast Harris County.

Two women who were inside the pickup truck say it appeared he was trying to stop them when he was struck.

The women were driving on FM 1960 near Woodland Hills Drive overnight when the incident occurred. This is right in front of the Old McDonald's Petting Zoo Farm.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the incident.

The driver is not expected to be charged in the case.
