Deputies: Wrong-way driver leaves 3 in critical condition in Humble

HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- Three people are in critical condition after deputies say a wrong-way driver crashed into another car in Humble last night.

The crash happened around 11:30pm on Atascocita Road near Mesa Drive.

Deputies say the driver of a black pickup crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a red car head-on.

The driver of the pickup and two people in the car were all taken to the hospital.

Authorities are looking into a cause of the crash, but saw a mechanical problem with the truck may be to blame.
