Texas city councilman forgets he's wearing a mic during bathroom break

GEORGETOWN, TX (KTRK) -- A Texas city councilman forgot he was wearing a microphone when nature called.

The Georgetown, Texas city council was in a discussion about infectious diseases when the unidentified councilman excused himself to use the bathroom. He then forgot to switch off his microphone as he walked through the bathroom doors.

Other city council members then began to giggle as sound of the man using the loo was then amplified over the speakers during the meeting. The sound of the toilet flushing led to full out laughter.

The council member is then seen walking back into council chambers to rejoin the discussion on diseases. Ironically missing from the audio is the sound of any hand washing.
