Chicago police officer charged with DUI, driving wrong way on I-57

CHICAGO, IL -- Chicago Police Officer Danny Sevilla is charged with driving under the influence and driving the wrong way on Interstate 57 early Friday morning.

Sevilla, 33, was stopped by another motorist while driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-57 near 111th around 5:45 a.m. Friday, Illinois State Police said. There was no collision, and no one was injured in the incident.

Sevilla was seen leaving the Blue Island Police Station, where he was held by Illinois State Police.
