Cement truck slams into toll plaza, overturns in north Houston; driver pinned

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A cement mixer truck slammed into an unmanned toll plaza stand and then overturned this afternoon on the Hardy Toll Road at Little York. The driver was pinned inside the vehicle as a result of the crash.

The driver was conscious when he was pulled from the cab of the cement mixer. Authorities say he has non-life threatening injuries.

The entrance to the toll road remains closed.
