Car smashes into Pearland convenience store

PEARLAND, TX (KTRK) -- No one was injured when a car smashed through the glass panes of a convenience store in Pearland.

It happened Wednesday night at a Shell station in the 1800 block of Pearland Parkway.

Pearland police a man about 20 years old accidentally hit the gas pedal and drove into the store; no gas pumps were damaged and the damage to the store appeared to be minor.
