SCOTTSVILLE, KY (KTRK) -- The search is on for a killer after the body of a young girl who was missing from a high school football game was found in a creek.
According to the Kentucky State Police, it happened Saturday night in the town of Scottsville. Police say 7-year-old Gabriella Doolin was reported missing at around 7pm by her mother from a game they were attending on the Allen County High School campus.
A search began immediately and by 8:05pm, the girl's body was found in a creek in a wooded area behind the school.
The medical examiner's office will determine the manner and cause of death. At this point, there have been no arrests. An investigation is ongoing.
