Body found in Brays Bayou near University of Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Officers are on the scene where a body was found in Brays Bayou near the University of Houston.

HPD is at the scene on North MacGregor Way, just south of UH.

Officers say they received a call about a car that went off into the bayou. The top of a white vehicle can be seen in the water, the hatchback door

We have not yet confirmed that the body and the vehicle are linked. Officers are currently working to determine whether they are connected.
