Bicyclist struck, killed by car in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say a bicyclist was struck and killed by a car in southwest Houston.

Video from Skyeye HD showed a body lying on the South Post Oak feeder road to the South Loop East. A damaged bicycle was near the body.

There was also a heavily damaged vehicle still at the scene.

Police confirm the bicyclist was struck by the car. The investigation is ongoing.
