Army National Guard Sergeant arrested for online solicitation of a minor

ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- An Army National Guard sergeant has been charged with online solicitation of a minor and attempted sexual assault of a child.

Sergeant Leigh Fox, 29, was arrested on Tuesday after trying to meet a 14-year-old girl.

Rosenberg Police say Fox had been online soliciting the teenager for sexual acts.

According to police, Fox left his place of employment to meet the teenager at a local park in Rosenberg, where he was taken into custody.
