More than two dozen parolees are unaccounted for since Hurricane Harvey.

Two of the 27 missing high-risk parolees who have been unaccounted for since Hurricane Harvey are now in custody.

Danny Lee (charged with possession of meth) and Justin Hughes (charged with retaliation) have been arrested, according to Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesperson Jason Clark.

During the storm, TDCJ evacuated 500 parolees from a flooded Harris County halfway house to other facilities around the state.

Since then, TDCJ has issued 69 warrants for parolees who have been unaccounted for since Harvey. Eleven of those warrants have been executed, 33 have been withdrawn and 25 are still active.

Those taken into custody will have to face the parole board and could face fines or more time behind bars. A majority of the missing parolees live on their own in Harris County and were not living at the halfway house.

The parolees served time for crimes including sexual assault involving a child, attempted murder and robbery.

Investigators are not actively searching for the parolees. TDCJ said if the wanted parolees encounter law enforcement, they will be arrested on an active warrant. TDCJ sent an email notification to law enforcement across the state to notify them about the parolees:
