Loads of Hope: Tide mobile service to provide laundry services for Harvey victims

The Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry unit is helping people who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey and first responders. (KTRK)

Companies from across the country have been offering their services to provide help for people who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

Procter & Gamble is stepping in with the Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit to help families, individuals and first responders in need of personal care items, cleaning products or laundry services. The services are all free.

The mobile unit is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until 100 loads of laundry (two loads per household) have been washed the Home Depot on 13400 Market St. in Houston.



"Tide Loads of Hope will collect, wash, dry and fold laundry free of charge. The P&G team will also be distributing P&G products free of charge directly to residents such as Crest toothpaste, Head & Shoulders shampoo, Ivory soap, Gillette razor and shaving products, Old Spice body wash, Oral-B toothbrushes, Pampers diapers, Pantene shampoo and conditioner, etc," the press release read.
