It's not over until it's over, the Aggies learned to their disappointment.

Despite being up 34 points late in the third quarter, Texas A&M lost their season opener to UCLA 45-44 at the Rose Bowl.

Two plays after UCLA receiver Jordan Lasley dropped a third-down pass at the first-down marker, he caught a 10-yard touchdown pass with 43 seconds left in the third. That was the start of 35 unanswered points.

Quarterback Josh Rosen threw for the winning touchdown on a fake spike with less than a minute to go.

The internet is already roaring about the stunning defeat. The Aggies are being called the new Falcons after losing their large lead. We're sure to see many memes on the subject this season.
