Increasing temperatures and humidity for final weekend of winter

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Increasing temperatures and humidity will unfold for this final weekend of winter.

Saturday will start off cloudy and mild with morning temperatures in the low 60s. Enough moisture will be in place for a brief passing shower, otherwise, most areas will stay dry. The surge of warm, Gulf air will allow afternoon temperatures to climb into the low 80s.

Partly cloudy and above normal temperatures will continue on Sunday as highs remain in the 80s.

Spring officially starts on Monday and the warmth will be sticking around.
