Zoe Fahey says her Navy dad had a lot to do with her big win at RodeoHouston last night

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A little girl from San Diego rode into history as the winner of the RodeoHouston mutton bustin' competition Wednesday night.

Zoe Fahey claimed her belt buckle award with pride with her dad, who is in the U.S. Navy, by her side.

Fahey held on for one wild ride, going in circles around NRG Stadium for a score of 90.

Zoe says her secret: Riding dad's back around the living room, and eating plenty of Rice Krispy treats for energy.

"Well, I practiced on my dad," she said of her big win Wednesday night.

She says she hopes to one day become a horseback rider.
