MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) --An online sting operation has resulted in the arrest of at least nine people who were interested in preying on children, Montgomery County authorities say.
Investigators with the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 1 and the Montgomery County District Attorney's office say they met 31-year-old James Cepak in an online forum where he allegedly agreed to meet a woman to have sex with her 8-year-old daughter.
He was really talking to an undercover officer.
According to court documents, he is a homeless man living in the Houston area. Authorities say he took a bus to Montgomery County, expecting to meet that woman and pay for sex with the girl.
