It's still on like Donkey Kong! Mario and friends are coming to Universal's theme parks.

Nintendo released a video on Tuesday teasing what fans might expect at the Nintendo lands coming soon to Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando, Hollywood and Japan. Its goal: to bring the characters, action and adventure of Nintendo video games to life within Universal theme parks.

Park guests should feel as through they're inside some of their favorite games. The settings will be "expansive, immersive and interactive," the companies said. Nintendo and Universal Studios said there will be "something for everyone - regardless of their age or gaming experience level."

The Nintendo experience at Universal theme parks will feature characters like Mario, but a full list of characters will not be announced until a later date. The Nintendo-themed lands will open at Universal "separately over the next several years."

If you can't wait that long for some real-life Nintendo action, you could always try to grab tickets to the upcoming Legend of Zelda-themed escape room.
