HOUSTON (KTRK) --Some Houston area shoppers started lining up for "Black Friday" deals as early as Monday.
Gildardo Jimenez and his family were first in line at the Best Buy near the Galleria. He says they've camped out somewhere for 18 years.
Flavio Hernandez and his family are at the Best Buy in Meyerland Plaza.

"This is our fifth year coming here," he says.
Jimenez says he hasn't looked up the deals, so he doesn't know how good or not so good they are, but it doesn't matter.
"Always you need something for your home."
The Hernandez family is aiming for half-priced laptops and a 4K TV.
And Thanksgiving dinner is coming to them.
"My mom cooks and brings it over here for Thanksgiving, so we don't miss it. We do have thanksgiving. We have turkey, everything, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes."
