Fake fire drill lures NC teacher to romantic proposal

GREENSBORO, NC -- A special marriage proposal involving a fake fire drill and a shocked teacher was all caught on video in Greensboro.

A Greensboro firefighter popped the question to a Guilford High School math teacher.

The school played along by scheduling a fire drill to get everyone out on the football field.

"The fire department and the fire service means the work to me, and when she started teaching at Northwest, she fell in love with the students and the staff," said husband-to-be and firefighter Eric Estep. "I wanted to do something that was special for the both of us."

She, of course, said yes.
