Arson investigators brought out an arson dog to investigate house fire.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire off of the North Loop near Hirsch.

The fire happened around 2am Sunday morning and luckily no one was home at the time.

The family of 5 lives in the home including a 2-year-old, a 3-year-old, an 18-year-old and their parents.

The mother came home to see firefighters already there.

Also, the family says their 2009 Chevy Tahoe was missing.

No word at this time as to how the fire started.

The home sustained serious damage.
