Deputies: Gunmen fatally shoot man in the head in N. Harris Co.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Police are hoping to find out why a man was fatally shot last night in north Harris County.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says they received a call around 8pm about a shooting on Bertrand Street near Aldine Westfield Road.

Two Hispanic men arrived at a home where three men lived and knocked on the door.

Sgt. Felipe Rivera says one of the residents answered, and shortly thereafter, there was gunfire.

One of the men inside the home was shot in the head. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Little is known about the two suspects who got away or why they went to the home in the first place.

The shooting is still under investigation.
