Man dead after stabbing; female suspect on the loose

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are looking for a woman wanted in the connection to a murder overnight.

Investigators responded to an assault in progress at the Mainridge Apartments around 11:30pm Saturday night.

Firefighters arrived immediately to help render aid to the assault victim.

Officers arrived soon after and that's when they found the victim stabbed in an apartment.

He died at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 49-year-old, Martin Anthony Landry.

Officers say there was an argument between Landry and a woman earlier in the night.

"There was a domestic argument, as a result of that physical altercation, he did suffer a couple of wounds," said Ramon Cervantes, Houston Police Department.

Police are looking for the woman involved in that altercation.
