Argument ends with man's fatal shooting in NE Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Residents say a fight between a man and a woman ended in a fatal shooting in northeast Houston.

Officers arrived around 10:21pm and found the body of a man at a home on June Street near Hirsch Road.

HPD says neighbors heard shouting right before someone fired a gun. A gray Dodge Avenger was then seen driving away from the scene.

Police are interviewing a female witness in hopes of determining what led up to the shooting.

The victim is believed to be the only person who lived inside the home where he died.
