Elevator company reveals "door close" button secrets

HOUSTON -- Turns out you're not crazy if the "door close" button on the elevator never seems to work for you.

The world's biggest elevator company, Otis, just revealed the button is an optional feature.

And just because the button is there, it doesn't mean it's working. It may be deactivated -- on purpose.

Some areas actually restrict the use of "door close" buttons.
