Police: Shoplifting suspects fought with employees outside Sugar Land store

SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- Sugar Land police need your help finding suspected shoplifters who they say got into a fight with JC Penney employees before getting away.

It happened back on July 2 at the JC Penny on the Southwest Freeway. In surveillance video, you can see two women holding items and walking around. Police say they would put items in their purses.

Loss prevention officers stopped them in the parking lot. That's when police say the women started fighting and scratching the officers and got away in a silver car driven by a man.
