HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Friday means free stuff at abc13, so check out these free events coming your way this week.

Revolution Studio's free yoga session happens this week at West Avenue River Oaks Shopping Center it's called Yoga on the Avenue.

This Saturday, July 16 at 9am, Revolution Studio is taking yoga to the streets in the West Avenue River Oaks Shopping Center , where attendees can enjoy a 45-minute flow to the live beats of DJ Kung Fu, followed by mimosas and lite bites provided by Cru Wine Bar and Pinkberry!

Public Run Day

On the third Saturday of each month, March through November, the members of Houston Area Live Steamers offer free rides to the public on our track (map). The dates and hours can be found here.

HALS has established a call-in number so that on those rainy days, you can check to see if the trains are running.

The number for the HALS Status Line is (281) 758-8012. You cannot leave a message, as this line is dedicated to providing train status on Public Run Days.

Galveston to host beachfront fireworks on weekends this month

Fireworks are just the beginning of free and fun stuff to do on the island. Starting this Saturday, visitors to the island can catch free fireworks shows over the Gulf of Mexico every weekend for the rest of the month. The shows will take place at 10 p.m. on Saturday July 16th. Early in the afternoon there is also a free concerts from 3-6pm!

The Miller Outdoor Theater is hosting The Million Dollar Quartet is the smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.
