Police: Man shot by woman who then turned gun on herself in west Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman is accused of shooting her husband, then fatally turning the gun on herself in west Houston.

The attempted murder-suicide happened at the Carrington Court apartments along Westheimer and Stoney Brook.

Police say the the husband was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital and is expected survive.

No other details have been released.
