VIDEO: Man bodly steals from body shop in broad daylight

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The owner of Galson Auto and Body, Harjit Galhotra, says it was the middle of a busy day when a man simply pulled up and helped himself to an impact ranch tool.

"Looks like he did it multiple times and will target others," said Galhotra.

Shop foreman Anthony Palmer noticed the tool was missing shortly after.

"I misplace tools but they show up. A helper picked it up, that's what I was expecting. Not someone from the outside," said Palmer.

He made the discovery after checking the more than two dozen cameras in the shop.

Palmer added, "To see the guy just walk in, look around the shop, pick it up, walk out and take off which is something we've never had happen here before."

At a pawn shop the foreman added that the thief will likely only get about $50, but the picture they have of him is priceless.

"I've worked my whole life, 40 years. I hate people who want to take and take and take," said Palmer.
