HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houstonians will gather once again tonight to remember and honor the victims of Sunday morning's deadly mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub.
The City of Houston will hold its vigil at city hall tonight at 7:30pm.

The vigil follows two observations this week, the first at Hermann Park on Sunday featuring speakers from Houston's LGBT community.
The second was held last night at South Beach nightclub last night.

Mayor Sylvester Turner was joined at South Beach by Sheriff Ron Hickman, District Attorney Devon Anderson, and members of Houston's Muslim community.
Officials denounced terrorism and committed to increasing security in the Montrose area. They say they will crackdown on anyone who commits a hate crime in Houston.

The University of Houston is scheduled to hold a vigil at noon at the A.D. Bruce Religion Center.
